Numbers 23:19, “God is not a human who lies or a mortal who changes his mind. When he says something, he will do it; when he makes a promise, he will fulfil it. (CJB)

Many in this season have been struggling to hang on, myself included. Some have even thought of walking way as they have questioned in their minds, ‘What is going on? This is all too much! Is it all worth it? Why God, are you not doing anything? Where are the promises?’

Many are questioning everything as it seems like nothing is happening, and things in life seem to be only getting worse. “I can’t connect, I can’t worship, I’m so unmotivated, I don’t want to go to church anymore, I’m struggling to read the word, I don’t know what to pray anymore, no one understands, I don’t want to do this anymore, I love you God but its all too hard!

We keep hearing prophetic words, ‘BREAKTHROUGH IS COMING, GLORY IS COMING, REVIVAL IS COMING’, but many feel like they are hanging on by a thread and the thread is starting to fray and about to break. Well, that may be so, but I am here to tell you, even if the thread frays and the thread breaks, THE LORDS HAND IS STILL STRETCHED OUT FOR YOU TO GRAB IT! His promise is to NEVER leave you, His word is true, but it is up to you to grab His hand.

I heard the Lord say,

“I HAVE KEPT MY PROMISES RIGHT UP TO THIS DAY AND I WILL KEEP ON KEEPING MY PROMISES TO YOU. Look at what I have done in your life, look at what I have brought you through. I have been faithful to you, I have been there in the hard times, I have carried you in the grief. I have picked you up healed and restored you, I have made a way where there was no way. Look at the promises that have already been fulfilled, DO YOU FORGET?, IS MY WORD NOT TRUE?”

We are in an Isaiah 43: 16-23 moment, many have grown weary of the Lord for not fulfilling promises when they wanted Him too, therefore we have burdened and wearied Him.

Isaiah 43:16-26, Here is what Adonai says, who made a way in the sea, a path through the raging waves; who led out chariot and horse, the army in its strength — they lay down, never to rise again, snuffed out and quenched like a wick: “STOP DWELLING ON PAST EVENTS AND BROODING OVER TIMES GONE BY; I AM DOING SOMETHING NEW; it’s springing up — CAN’T YOU SEE IT? I am making a road in the desert, rivers in the wasteland. The wild animals will honor me, the jackals and the ostriches; because I put water in the desert, rivers in the wasteland, for my chosen people to drink, the people I formed for myself, SO THAT THEY WOULD PROCLAIM MY PRAISE.

BUT YOU HAVEN’T CALLED ON ME, Ya‘akov (Jacob); BECAUSE YOU HAVE GROWN WEARY OF ME, Isra’el. YOU HAVE NOT brought me sheep for your burnt offerings, YOU HAVE NOT honored me with your sacrifices. I didn’t burden you by requiring grain offerings, or weary you by demanding frankincense. YOU HAVE NOT spent money to buy me sweet cane or filled me with the fat of your sacrifices. Instead, YOU HAVE BURDENED ME with your sins and WEARIED ME with your crimes. I, yes, I, am the one who blots out your offenses for my own sake; I will not remember your sins. Remind me when we’re in court together — tell your side, make the case that you are right. (CJB)

Body of Christ, we are in a very difficult season spiritually, but it is NOT time to give up, it’s a time to push through and trust the Lord more than ever! In John 6:55 – 68, Jesus was explaining to His disciples about the bread of life.

“55 For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink. 56 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood lives in me, and I live in him.”

Jesus was explaining that He is the Bread of life but some of the disciples didn’t understand what He meant, they were looking from an ‘earthly point of view’ which caused them to give up.
“60 On hearing it, many of his talmidim (disciples)said, “This is a hard word — who can bear to listen to it? 61 But Yeshua, aware that his talmidim (Disciples) were GRUMMBLING about this, said to them, “THIS IS A TRAP FOR YOU? 62 Suppose you were to see the Son of Man going back up to where he was before? 63 It is the Spirit who gives life, the flesh is no help. The words I have spoken to you are Spirit and life, 64 yet some among you DO NOT TRUST.”

This is also exactly what is happening now, there is a lack of trust, a lack of understanding because we want to see it in the natural and it’s not happening, so it’s all just too hard and nothing makes sense. Listen to what happened next.

“66 From this time on, many of his talmidim (Disciples) TURNED BACK AND NO LONGER TRAVELLED AROUND WITH HIM. 67 So Yeshua said to the Twelve, “Don’t you want to leave too?” 68 Shim‘on Kefa (Peter) answered him, “Lord, to whom would we go? You have the word of eternal life”

We are in a time of decisions. The valley of decisions, wilderness decisions. Will you be the one when the thread frays and breaks fall completely? or will you grab His hand and hang on for dear life because you know although you’re not seeing it, and nothing makes sense or seems to be happening right now, you do know this! HE IS THE BREAD OF LIFE! AND THAT IS ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW.

Relationship is a 2-way experience. When Jesus called you out, me out of darkness by His spirit into the Loving arms of the Father, He was inviting you into a relationship with Him. When He saved you and you embraced that first love of redemption! You said yes to Him, you said yes to healing, yes to restoration. You said yes to His promises, His blessings. You said yes to following Him through the good times and the bad. YOUR YES WAS YOUR PROMISE TO HIM. It’s time to come back to your first love, keep the promise of yes and rebuild that relationship you once had with Him. He has already fulfilled promises, He has done it all, He is faithful! He has gone before you and planned the way to fulfil the rest of His promises to you, trust in His plan. We are in a time of REBUILDING!
Rebuilding our relationship with Him! Start rebuilding today!

I hear Him saying, ‘As you rebuild your relationship with me I will take care of the rest’.

“WILL YOU KEEP YOUR PROMISES TO ME?

Hebrews 10:23, Let us hold fast the unwavering confession of hope, for He who promised is faithful. Amen and Amen!

Blessings all, Tziyona
