Galatians 6:7, Don’t delude yourselves: no one makes a fool of God! A person reaps what he sows’
Sadly, many will not like this message. I had a few experiences lately that really grieved my spirit. I know this has been going on for a while, but the Lord had really bought it to my attention recently because His Spirit is grieving, and I believe He has had enough.
I follow a few different people, ministries, and use a few different bible/ministry apps. While exploring one of the apps I came across some teachings. I listened to the first one, it was good, so I proceeded to the next one in the series only to find that it was locked. To access this teaching from GOD’S WORD! Yes! GOD’S WORD, I had to become a VIP subscriber and pay a monthly fee to continue listening to these teachings. I felt this deep, deep grief and anger rise up in my spirit! I said to myself, “how did the church get to a place where they CHARGE to DISCIPLE people, and CHARGE them to TEACH them from GOD’S HOLY WORD?” The church is charging people to hear GOD’S WORD! I felt sick and so grieved about this, I still do.
And then, I saw a post with a so called “word from the Lord”, to finish reading this word, I had to click on the link and subscribe as a monthly subscriber to read the rest of this word. It was only for the “elite subscribers”. SERIOUSLY! IT MAKES ME WANT TO VOMIT! This kept happening! On many different Christian platforms. As I was sharing my grief and anger with the Lord, He said to me,
“MANY HAVE BECOME A JUDAS AND MANY HAVE BECOME A SIMON THE SORCERER”.
Acts 8:20-22, Peter said to him, “May your silver go to ruin, and you with it—because you thought you could buy God’s gift WITH MONEY! You have no part or share in this matter, because your heart is not right before God. Therefore, REPENT of this wickedness of yours, and pray to the Lord that, if possible, the intent of your heart may be pardoned.
The Judas’s are taking money and betraying the WORD OF GOD! And many, Simon the sorcerers are wanting to pay to receive the precious gift of Gods word. What is wrong with you people? The WORD OF GOD is NOT for sale.
I get that churches and ministries need finance to do things, and yes, I believe tithing/giving is biblical but you DO NOT have to bash and drown people with tithing messages. God loves a cheerful giver with a right heart not a self righteous heart, or a heart giving out of guilt, because they have been preached at every week about giving.
SELLING Gods word, CHARGING to DISCIPLE, CHARGING to TEACH people GOD’S WORD, or CHARGING & PAYING for prophecy is absolutely WRONG.
IT IS GODS HOLY WORD, and HIS WORD is NOT for YOU to SELL, whether that be the written or spoken word of God.
Romans 8:32, He who did not spare His own Son but gave Him up for US ALL, how shall He not also, with Him, FREELY give us all things?
STOP making a profit from GOD’S WORD!
If you are doing this, you should be ashamed and you need to repent because you have become nothing but a den of thieves in Gods house and the fear of the living God is not in you.
Matthew 21:12-13, Then Yeshua entered the Temple and drove out all those selling and buying in the Temple. He overturned the tables of the moneychangers and the seats of those selling doves (Doves represent the Holy Spirit) 13 And He said to them, “It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer,’ but you are making it ‘A DEN OF THEIVES’!”
The Lord has been drawing my attention to how much this is going on in the body of Christ and the church is losing its way. I believe my spirit is grieving and angry about this because God is grieving and angry about how HIS WORD is being sold and disrespected.
There are a lot of judas’s out there receiving money and BETRAYING THE WORD OF GOD. Judas betrayed the word of God (Jesus, who is the word) for money, and we know what happen to him. Don’t think that God will sweep this under the rug. Judgement is in the house of the Lord now in many ways and this is one of them. It absolutely disgusts me that people think they can sell the HOLY WORD OF GOD and CHARGE to disciple people. Tell me in the bible where this is okay?
2 Timothy 2:15, Do all you can to present yourself to God as someone WORTHY OF HIS APPROVAL, as a worker with no need to be ashamed, because he deals straightforwardly with the Word of the Truth.
There are also many Simone the sorcerers out there thinking they can buy the gift of the Holy Spirit. You CAN NOT buy the Spirit of God, you CAN NOT buy a spiritual gift, you CAN NOT buy a calling, a mantle or anything else to do with God’s kingdom. God the Father gives his spirit FREELY to those with a right heart. He give’s spiritual gifts to whom HE chooses according to HIS purposes and plan for someone’s life. He appoints Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Teachers, and Shepherds as vessels of honour for HIS glory not yours.
You CAN NOT buy your salvation, your calling, your giftings. I don’t care how many courses you pay for to become this or that or to get a spiritual gift, you will not receive it if God the Father hasn’t chosen you to have it. Jesus will say to many in the end TURN FROM ME for I DO NOT KNOW YOU. He is going to say this because they did all these things in HIS NAME, using his precious name for their own gain, selling his precious HOLY WORD! And seeking to buy the precious gifts of the Holy Spirit, amongst other things. It is NOT YOURS to sell or buy. I’m so grieved and angry about this because I feel God is grieved and angry about this, and He has had enough. THIS IS A WARNING!
Judgement has begun in the house of the Lord. This is a warning to all those who have lost their way, repent and turn to God, He is a merciful, forgiving and loving God. STOP selling HIS word and trying to buy the Spirit of God. STOP CHARGING to disciple people, STOP CHARGING to teach people GODS WORD! STOP CHARGING for prophecy. It’s absolutely disgusting, REPENT!
I tell you those who continue to sell Gods word or think they can buy the things of Gods Spirit are going to fall and fall hard, this is a warning and I pray you take heed to this warning because if you don’t, it just may cost you your salvation because you are operating out of a wrong spirit. You will end up in eternal damnation not eternal freedom. THIS IS GOD’S WORD WE ARE TALKING ABOUT, NOT YOURS! His word is not something to take lightly and to do with whatever you want. My soul is grieving right now for those who don’t heed this warning because sadly I know many won’t because they have become lovers and protectors of SELF, building their OWN kingdoms in the name of Jesus, they are not lovers and protectors of God’s word and his sheep. What a dreadful thing it is to fall into the hands of God Almighty.
Hebrews 10:28-31, Someone who disregards the Torah of Moshe is put to death without mercy on the word of two or three witnesses. Think how much worse will be the punishment deserved by someone who has trampled underfoot the Son of God; who has treated as something common the blood of the covenant which MADE HIM HOLY; and who has INSULTED the Spirit, giver of God’s grace! For the One we know is the One who said, “Vengeance is my responsibility; I will repay,” and then said, “Adonai will judge his people.” It is a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God!
Father, I pray Holy fear touches the hearts of your people, may the fear of the Lord return to the church, and Father may we honour and respect the precious name of Jesus, stand firm in the truth of your word and may we always give you all the Glory Lord, Amen.
